ISO14001
The ISO 14001 Environmental Management System is an internationally recognized voluntary standard obtained following the respect of some fundamental principles:
- Use of eco-compatible products;
- Use of renewable energy sources;
- Reduction in water resource usage;
- Selection of ethical suppliers;
- Improving environmental performance throughout the entire supply chain.

ZDHC
Marlane has joined the ZDHC – Roadmap to Zero program, an international program for better management of chemical inputs, which aims to ensure safer products, cleaner water, and fresher air, with the goal of:
- Eliminating or replacing hazardous chemicals;
- Developing effective tools, and best practices, to improve chemical resource management.

AUTHENTICO
The Authentico certification connects farmers to the entire supply chain. It is an integrity scheme program established by the Schneider Group to ensure transparency and ethics throughout the entire production chain.
Some of its key aspects can be summarized as follows:
- Implementation of the Five Freedoms of animal welfare;
- No Mulesing wool;
- Complete and certified traceability of the supply chain with open access for farmers.

Global Organic Textile Standard is the most stringent international certification for the sustainable production of textile products made from natural fibres. This standard of excellence certifies that our fabrics are strictly eco-sustainable and socially responsible, from the selection of raw materials to the finished product.

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety.
The international OEKO-TEX® standard checks, guarantees and certifies every level of manufacture: raw materials, semi-finished goods, accessories and finished products in the textile sector.

RWS
RWS is a certification system for the entire supply chain starting from the wool producer which aims to guarantee the essential freedoms and well-being of animals.
This certification provides the fundamental points for evaluating respect for animals and the environment.

BCI
Better Cotton Initiative is a non-profit organization that sustainably supports cotton cultivation. Thanks to BCI, farmers receive training on how to use water efficiently, care for the health of the soil and natural habitats, and reduce the use of the most harmful chemicals.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary certification that controls and verifies the content of recycled materials in a final product. All products composed of at least 50% recycled materials can be certified according to the GRS standard.
